    Douglas State Forest

    Hi all,
Does anybody ride in the Douglas State Forest?

I'm from just down 395 in Killingly, CT. Wondering how the riding is in Douglas? Are the trails well marked? Easy to navigate if you have never been? What is a good starting point?

    Thanks!

Pretty much everyone around the 395 corridor rides Douglas, Sutton Water Works and The Zoo in MA.

Douglas is a great place if you like rocks - the rock gardens have rock gardens.

The best place to park is the main lot on Route 16 and follow the Mid-State trail (marked with yellow triangles) - then explore the trails off that - as long as you keep your bearings to the Mid-State, you'll be fine.

The state map of Douglas is pretty spot on.
