    Current conditions on North Shore?

Getting cabin fever up here in NH and thinking of pulling out the mountain bike to explore some dry trails this weekend. Has anyone ridden/know the condition of Willowdale or HP right now? Thanks

They are a mix of mud and snow/ice up here in central NH as well. Are you in the northeast area of MA? Wondering how far south I have to drive to hit dirt. Thanks

Little to no snow melt left in most of eastern MA from the NH border down. Frost is coming out of the ground right now. It's more about finding a riding spot that has elevation and dirt that doesn't turn to swamp when the ground thaws. I don't have any recommendations for you, it's mud where I am and will be for the next week.

I rode Willowdale on Sunday and it was dry, though it was cold that day. I know there was a big ride at HP this past weekend as well and reports were that it was dry.

That is really encouraging. I reached out to a shop down in the area and they said they heard from customers that rode Willowdale this past weekend and everything was good. I guess we will see if rain hits later in the week but it might be just the ticket and if things are a little squishy, venture over to HP. Thank you for the help

Getting really excited for nice weather this weekend. Did you get a chance to get out yesterday and what were conditions like? Thanks

Well I guess I'll reply to my own thread. The answer is freakin' stellar. A friend and I ventured down to Willowdale today and did a 12 mile ride. We rode mostly singletrack, which was 99.9% clear of mud/soft tread. No big debris down and trails were in phenomenal shape. Saw 5-6 other groups and everyone was smiling ear to ear. So happy to have the dirt back.

Yudicky and Beaver Brook (Hollis NH) are 90-95% clear of ice. I road BB today 3/9 and was surprised how dry it was. Walked my dog in Yudicky yesterday and talked to folks who also said it's dry.
