Are you thinking this will take place Saturday? If so what should we bring for tools? Harry

Harry, I'll keep an eye on the amount of snow on the ground. Based on what I skinned up and skied down today up there, we'll be postponing/cancelling. Hard to build trail with 18" on the ground. If it warms up, and we get bare or nearly bare ground, we'll hold the event.

We'll probably make the call on Thursday.

    Event is on

Work day this Saturday. 8:00 AM. Anyone working till 1:00 PM will get an incentive from our landowners. Zips, Raft Trips etc.

I spent the afternoon up there checking things out. There is still some snow in the deep valley, but pretty much everything else is clear. We'll be building a short bridge over a ledge, building some sections of trail, leaf-blowing what's on the ground, tweaking some rock-work, working on some benching and berms and a few other small projects.

We'll need a bunch of people to get this all done. Let me know who's coming.

Harry - battery tools will be great. I think we have enough dirt moving tools, but if you or anyone else has a favorite trail tool bring it.

Not sure if we'll ride after since Berkshire East has offered to run a Valley Jump zip tour gratis for all who work the full shift. Nothing saying we can't ride after or instead if folks would rather.

    Saturday not Sunday...

Great turnout today. Lots accomplished. We now have a least 3 hours worth of technical, hilly singletrack ready for use. Most of it is leaf-blown so until the snow is here to stay, the riding will be awesome.

    Huge thanks to today's crew!
