    Bike Shop Recommendations

    Hey everyone-

I'm looking to get into mountain biking. I've done the usual stuff as a kid (I'm only 18), but want to start to get into it more. Can anyone recommend a good bike shop in or around the Boston area? I'm thinking about going over to Wheel Works in Belmont just to check things out.
    Thanks for the help

I go to Belmont Wheel Works. They do a really good job and have a huge selection. Good place to start and get familiar with the rides. You can rent for the day and they will credit your this to your purchase price if you buy within a certain time frame.

"Boston Area" is a Little Vauge where are you ?

While Belmont/Ace Wheel works , IBC will have the Best selection By far, some of the Smaller shops , Like JRA , Dedham Bike, Milford Bike , Bicycles Plus , Bike barn, etc will give you better service in the long run.

JRA cycles in Medford! Western Cycles in Danvers! Seaside Cycles in Manchester by the Sea. All are good shops.

I actually ended up going to Wheel Work's in Belmont. They were really great there and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new bike.

    Thanks for the help guys.
