Best trails in the Berkshires area?

    Hey guys,

Spending a weekend in the Great Barrington area later this month. Going to be riding with a friend, hoping to get in 2-3 good morning/afternoon rides but in desperate need of some local knowledge.

We're fairly advanced riders and can handle big climbs and techy stuff, although we'd definitely prefer flowy over tech any day. Our usual trails are in SW Connecticut and lower NY. From the Great Barrington area, we're willing to drive about an hour each way(or more if it's that good).

Right now it's looking like the Kennedy Park/Yukon Ridge area would be good. I'd love to try Beartown SF and Pittsfield SF, though I'm having doubts about getting around due to apparently poor trail markers/maps. Granville and October SF are both options. Any input on these?

    Thanks.

Check out the NEMBA MBAS at Pittsfield SF the weekend of June 26th for marked and guided rides of some of the best trails anywhere.

oh, it's Yokun ridge. the map they sell at the arcadian shop on rte 20 in Lennox of the Yokun Ridge and Kennedy park is pretty reliable and easy to navigate by and it gets you most of the trails in that area. And, it is fantastic riding.

Granville is a bit of a hike from the berks.
