    Ashland state park

Anyone happen to know the conditions or even the type of trail there is at Ashland State Park. I have a race there tomorrow but have never been before

From what I understand the race course is mostly flat, wide and easy (I think there's a joke I'm there somewhere). I forgot to register in time and I'm heading out in a few to see if they'll let me in.

I checked out the map and the course for the race is basically all fire road and some double track around the park. Expect a lot of loose rock and some easy ups and downs.

Actual riding at Ashland around the reservoir is a lot of fun, roots, quick little climbs and descents, and some neat rocky passages. It's a fun place to get a basic New England skills session, plus you can jump in to cool off!

Ive ridden in Ashland State Park and its a good place to ride although the trails are really steep over water and not very wide making it more of an advanced skill level of riding I personally enjoy riding Ashland Town Forest more than State Park because its easier and longer so I can ride really fast on it and even do some bunny hops. The only reason I ride the park more often is that its easy to find.

I also have this video of me riding through the park if you'd like to see it
