    Anything Near Mattapoisett? SE Mass?

I am planing on taking a friend riding who is a newb to the sport and looking for rideable trails in the area. I'm guessing the the closest riding will be at Bioreserve/Freetown? Thanks

For a beginner I would try destruction brook in Dartmouth.

I think that's off Fisher Road? Some serious haciendas in that area.

If you look at Strava Segment Explorer you will see a fairly significant trail system between 195 and Route 6 from Marion to Mattapoisett. I was looking at 12 to 15 mile loops in there by clicking on a segment and then clicking on a rider in the group and seeing where they went.
My name is Chris and I ride a Ripmo now.

Destruction Brook Woods would be a lot better for a beginner than Freetown State Forest.

Another +1 for destruction brook. My guess is that nobody has been out in the tinkham woods stuff in some time. Freetown is slowly improving, and Massasoit is ready to go, that I've seen.
If you're headed to DB on a weekend, expect lots of muffys.
