Has Marin's 2014 lineup been selling?

Did the big changes in their higher end offerings translate into sales? Or are they surviving on what they sell through REI. Based on the amount of unsold old stock moving through ebay over the past 12 months (of which I was happy to partake) they clearly need to do better this year.

All brands survive on their sub $1000 offerings, regardless of where they are sold.

Marin wasn't really pushing/marketing their higher end mountain products for a few years, and it showed with the end of the season sell offs. It seems that they have regained the desire to fight a bit at the higher end market, but it will take a few years for the dealers to respond. Getting their best bikes into the hands of reviewers will help, and especially if they hold up well in head-to-head tests with other brands. Regaining marketshare is slow, and regaining mindshare in customers is really hard to do quickly, even if you have really compelling products.
