    Bobcat Trail 7.5

I've been looking at the Giant Talon 2 and RM Fusion and leaning towards the RM. Then i came accross the Bobcat Trail 7.5 which looks pretty good.It has the same fork as the rocky but i think the Marin has remote lockout all deore and SLX derailers and its a 10 speed!!The RM has a tapered steerer but I'm not sure if the Marin has?

Doesn't look like it does, which is disappointing. If you look at the way the bike is positioned you will see why, it is listed in their " race" series but the frame is from the "sport series." This is an unfortunate change because the bobcat used to be their low speced bike that shared a frame with the higher end alloy hardtails.

I'll also add that Marin used to have beautifully hydroformed hardtails and now they are rather blah generic triangles. Unless it's on deep discount, I would look elsewhere.
