    2019 Rift Zone 3 upgrades??

I purchased several months ago a 2019 RZ3 and have absolutely LOVED it! Bought the Medium as I'm 5'8 with 29.5 inseam and it's a perfect fit! Now I'm wanting to push it a little as I'm becoming more comfortable on this bike. The front tire (WTB Trail Boss 2.4) is OK but in North Georgia some trails have a sandiness to them and at speed I've almost lost it in quick turns. SO:

    Recommendations:

Front and Rear Tires for the North Georgia area? I'm thinking Maxxis but? Also want to push rear to 29x 2.5 and front to 29x 2.6. i29mm stock rims.

Front Fork to 130mm or 140mm recommendations?

Rear Suspension is 120mm can you push it a little with frame limitations?

Any other recommendations? I also have a 2019 Diamondback Sync'R with added dropper and love it for what it is which is why I want to push the RZ3 a little as it's really more fun to ride in some ways!

First post so sorry if this has been covered!!

I would upgrade the air shaft in the revelation to 130 or 140mm ($40, https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/pro...130-150mm-2018) rather than fork out (haha) for a new fork. Maxxis WT tires are rated for a 30mm internal width so the stock rims would work for those (i.e. 2.5 DHF or HighRollerII front and 2.4 Aggressor rear). All of the 2.5/2.6 WTB tires are SUPER heavy (>1100-1200g) despite being good performers.

Thanks for the info jeffgicklhorn! I will look into the solo air shaft upgrade! Yeah, wanted the DHF up front... thought about the typical DHR II in rear but having something a little more free rolling on the rear would be good! I just don't know if a 2.5 would fit on rear. I wanted to run 2.5 on rear and 2.6 on front.

Matt Cipes (Marin MTB product manager) was quoted as saying that 2.6 should fit in the rear: https://www.wideopenmountainbike.com...ipes-interview
