2012-2013 Mt Vision shock dimensions and replacement options

I have a 2013 (I think) Mt Vision that I got as a warranty replacement (upgrade) when I broke my 2012 East Peak. The Mt Vision came with a 2012 Fox RP23 shock, which is in need of service or replacement--I wouldn't mind replacing it, as it's always felt too soft.

Can someone confirm the dimensions of the shock? It's 200x51 or 200x57, I just don't know which one.

Next question: What should I get as a budget-minded replacement? I don't know how much longer I'll stick with this bike, so I don't want to sink a lot of money into a new shock. Jenson has an X-fusion for cheap (assuming I actually need 200x57):

X-Fusion 02 RL Rear Shock No PCKG > Components > Forks & Suspension > Rear Shocks | Jenson USA

How would that work? Also, if I go with another Fox shock, what tune should I look for? The RP23 I have has the following tune settings: Rebound trim: M, Velocity tune: M, Boost Valve Tune: 200. Of course, I'm not even sure that shock is the right tune for the frame.

FWIW, the shocks fitted in 2013 at the different trim levels were RockShox Monarch RL, Flox float evolution CTD, Fox float performance CTD, and Fox float Factory CTD BV Kashima coated.

Its more worthwhile to send the shock to Push for a rebuild or rebuild plus retune which runs around $160-210 for the Float series and you end up with a shock that is good or better than new tuned based on your preferences. I don't see how you end up with anything nearly as good for that amount.

I don't crash, I just have slightly uncontrolled dismounts!
