VICMAX A60 6 XML handlebar light

Looks like a potentially good light popped up @ fasttech.

I like the proper handlebar mount, but of course its the internals that matter if it has a hope of getting the claimed 3600 lumen output.

I remember seeing this light in another thread, not even cree emitter, uses the lattice bright knock offs. These have been popping up on all the sites lately. I do like see the bar mount, need to see those on every light.

Wish they'd sell a head only option which then MIGHT make a nice mod host.

Agreed, that's what I was really thinking of when I saw this light. Replace the cheap driver and put in some neutral emitters and this could be a nice host. But the usual question about the internal heat sinking would need to be answered before plunking down the money.

Not really. Crap low power driver, crap UI, crap LED's, crap beam tint...need I go on. Jeez, come on, how bright can it be at 2500ma.?

Now give the thing a 6A driver, 3 usable modes, a nice set of Cree XM-L2 LED's ( preferable in the 4700 or 6000K tint, neutral or cool white ) and then it might be worth taking a serious look at.
