    Red and Green navigation lights

I am on the hut for some long lasting navigation lights for my kite to make it legal. The lights are to compliment the troutie headlight that I had built up. http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=517536

The lights need to be light weight, cast a wide flood profile (as opposed to spot) water proof (or be siliconed to be) low profile, last a long time and be around the 100 Lumen mark. Anyone got any ideas?

Just kicking some ideas out there

Cree do XP-E in green and red. Cutter is out though so not sure where to get them...
Use this driver and power off AAs (1-4 depending on runtime needed).

Should be plenty bright. Note the green is a lot brighter than the red so use the 500mA driver for the red and 350 for the green.
I'd mount to aluminium plate, seal inside a frosted perspex tube with the al hanging out the ends to keep it cool.

Cheaper... hack up something from the DX red and green modules.
Knock off the reflector and you'll have a fairly uniform wide beam.
You'll need to seal and provide a switch solution(hate multi mode drivers ).
