    No lights

Sometimes screwups turn into the most wonderful experiences.

We forgot our light when we went out for an nighttime ride tonight. Since we were familiar with the trail and had half a moon we decided to give it a shot anyway and had one of our most memorable rides ever. It was pretty slow, 4 mph average, and it was physically demanding with all the miscues between captain and stoker (we ride a mountain tandem), but it was a wonderful experience that I encourage everyone to try.

Yeah, sometimes I will actually shut my lights down for parts of the ride if it's a fairly full moon. Totally different and awesome experience. FWIW I don't recommend it on trails with many rocks or roots (ask me how I know)
