    My setup...Lumilight2500 & Zebralight SC600MKII

    Hi

I just bought a better helmet light. Sorry about the link is in Finnish language... Lumilight LUMONITEⓇ Navigator 2500, 2770 lm 299,00€ - VALOSTORE.FI
    Here's the setup photo:

I use the light in high mode (200 minutes running time and about 1800 lumens output). The color rendering is great (not blue, quite neutral) and not too tight hotspot. The beam distance is not far away but for my kind of trail riding it's enough. What a great light!

    Here's video...

Does it use Ledil CUTE-3 optics? Are you using narrow (SS) or mid angle ones?

Hi, good question. I downloaded the datasheet of the optics and I did good looking at the lens. It looks like the Ledil CUTE-3. Maybe you are right about it. I don't want to open the light head though :-)

Here's photo of the beam shot (in reality it's wider):

That's a sweet looking light! Lots of heat sinking fins.

If it is using the Ledil CUTE-3 SS you can flat sand off the little "dimples" on the lens and re-polish it to give more throw. Even with that it still has a pretty wide beam.

Im not a round light head fan but that is one of the better case designs ive seen. Plenty of fins cut deep (not the shallow fins we see alot that are barely more than little slots). And they extend in larger diameter than the front bezel so they get some direct air flow in the direction of travel.

Iirc ledil has a couple triple optics options and "opening the head" in this case is nothing more than unscrewing the silver front retainer ring, poping optics out and new one back in.

Thanks, I'll keep this in my mind. I think I don't need better optics right now but clear optics would be nice to try :-)

I will make better video soon. Do you have any wishes to see light in action, special view or angle? I think I will make 3rd person video or maybe cable cam edit.
