    Mtiger theia battery

I lost the battery to my Mtiger theia, the double emitter light. Left the bastard on my bumper. Where can I get a replacement, other than rakc?

Maybe, not real sure. It looks right, even the connection looks correct. I reckon part of the problem is that I donít know shit about batteries, and donít know where to look or what to look for. Shooting in the dark. Literally.

I know people have had good luck with Hunk Lee batteries. You usually have to get clever on how you attach to the bike. I donít own your light so hopefully someone will pop in with more specific advice for you.

My experience has been if you want to be sure the threaded connector cap is compatible buy a Mtiger replacement battery (none of my different threaded connectors will screw together). Actual connector should work but if not a tight fit there's an increased risk of separation while riding. I just ordered a 2 cell off that ebay site that should arrive the middle of next week and can check the fit with my Theia for you if your considering going with that ebay battery.

Unfortunately the Theia's threaded cap did not work with the ebay battery. It was still a tight enough fit that it should maintain a reliable connection so the batteries with this connector will work if your not able to find an Mtiger battery.

Thanks for following up. So, does the mtiger use a proprietary connector?

The actual connector part will still work with the ebay battery and every other battery I own (Ituo, Gemini, Xeccon, Nitefighter, Outboun) It's just the screw on cap that is proprietary. My experience is all these caps are different. The ebay battery did work with my Ituo lights connector cap but not near as well as when using the Ituo battery with the light.
