    Magicshine Virtual night-ride videos

I recorded 2 videos of some singletrack riding with Magicshine bike lights.

The first video is a single Magicshine light on the handlebars:

In the second video I am running one Magicshine on the handlebars & one on the helmet:

With all due respect to the OP, those videos don't show the MS well at all. In the videos they do look like spot lights bouncing around as BBW has said. But in reality, it doesn't look like that. I think the camera is only picking up the brightest part of the beam, and not picking up all the spill that these lights put off.

Believe me, the beam is much better in person! Much broader and lights up a much bigger area then it looks like in those vids.

Yes, the video doesn't give an accurate representation of what your eyes see.
I used a tiny VGA sports-camera strapped onto my bike so you really can't expect fantastic results at night.

I think the videos create a reasonable impression of what night mountain biking feels like (if you overlook the limitations of the technology used to record it).

Anybody else have any night riding videos to share?

Another question I have been battling with is how to take photos of night mountain biking?
Any photographers out there with tips on how to capture this?
