    magicshine in strobe mode

Was out riding the other night and decided to try out the strobe mode on my light..When the light was pointed in front of me it really was quite strobe effect, which made me look up more and aim the light down the trail and look down the trail also..Helped form shadows which helped out the trail vision.. I was alone so if I was with a group it might be freaky for some of the other riders..Anybody else???

The strobe can throw off your coordination, probably not a good idea to use it on a trail.

I use it commuting during the day, it's just slightly obnoxious, but highly visible, like those motorcycle headlight modulators. I really notice those guys behind me when driving on the freeway.

Strobe is great for daytime riding, especially in the city. It's totally useless and extremely annoying at night.

The strobe function does, however, preserve the battery to give you more riding time. The 5 mode lights have 2 strobe modes - you may prefer one to the other
