    Magicshine charger doesn't change color.

I recently purchased a magic shine eagle 2400 used. The light lit up fine but now the battery has discharged. When I plug it into the charger the charger remains green. Do I need a new charger? Is there an easy way to get them open?

First check what is the volatage charger provides. Next what is the voltage of battery pack.
Do you have any other light and charger?

It's the 4 pin plugs with the 7.4 volt battery and ,8.4 volt charger. I'm guessing nominal and peak voltage.

Yes I know that, but what are your actual voltage readings.

When I got the light it showed like 40% when plugged into the light. It ran fine until the light showed the battery was at zero percent. When I plugged it into the charger the charger just remains green. I don't have a volt meter. It seems there is a short in the charger wire going to the battery to me. I've gone ahead and ordered a new charger.
