    magic shine battery ?

    I just got a second battery the series 2 1400.what will the performance difference be if any.

    None to my knowledge. Same battery just in an aluminum can that seals up nicely.

    Might perform a bit better in cold weather, with the extra enclosure and neoprene sleeve. Li-ion, as with most battery chemistries, perform poorly when cold.

    Yes you fellas are correct, same 4 cell pack but definitely more durable and water resistant in the aluminum cannister. You may be spot on there Max, we were testing the Series II battery in Feb and March in winter conditions and were getting the full burntimes on the 900 and 1400 lightheads.
