    Lupine Piko R Remote?

I've read in the instructions that you can connect up to 5 lampheads to a single remote switch..... But can you actually control the helmet and bar light while they are both on with the single button??

    Thanks!

Yes you can. You would need to have both lamps have the same number of modes and have them paired to the one button.

Got ya... So basically the lamps will both be at the same lumens at all times when on. Cant control the brightness independently.

You could still control each lamp manually, as in press the button on the lamphead itself. the next time you press the remote though, the lamps' brightness levels now be out of wack. You would have to manually synchronize both lamps' levels or use the remote to turn the lights off, then turn them on again.

Are you using two piko r's?

I'm looking at using 2 pikos but it's looking to me like I might just use the buttons and not mess with the remote version at all! Would be one more battery to die on me anyhow!

The remote is really handy and reliable. mine usually last well over a year per battery change at 2 to 3 night rides a week, year round. Easy to change the batteries and are just the cheap 2032 ones. I use a betty and Wilma together, but have used these with a the piko just to see if the remote can indeed control 3 lights. It does.

yeah I'm sure it's reliable since it's lupine but I prefer to control my lights independently so will most likely stick to the non-remote version. Thanks for the info, you've been a big help!

Maybe use the remote to control the helmet light and control the bar light directly?
    Do the math.
