Smile Look what I just got...

    Diablo Mk.2

From the few rides I had with it, it looks amazing.
The beam is even and very bright...900 LUM it is light weight and...It comes with a full two year warranty
The down side is the burn time, therefor I'm using the 3 Cell PiggyBack to get
around 4 hours and 15 Min with it.

I'll get some beam shots soon and I will upload as soon as I can.

    Cheers

I likey! Where did you get yours Eran? Perhaps Baja Designs should make a deep-sea capable version like the Strykr series? I have always been a fan of these guy's products.

I'm just curious, what's up with that "smart port" in the back? Does it have a cap of some sort? Isn't water going to get in and short-circuit the thing? What's the deal?

Just curious....How do you find the weight? I mean, really...the thing is big. I have torches that are smaller than the Diablo and "they" give me problems.

Weight is no problem Cat. With a little neck harness training, you'll be good to go!

If I put too much weight on it there is a tendency for the helmet to slide around a bit. Not to mention sweating doesn't help this. Most of my lights and mini-torches work fine. The bigger torches have caused me some problems in the past. I did just replace some front padding so maybe I might have to revisit the large torch issue to see if there is an improvement. Thanks for the feedback.

The Diablo is not heavy and not having a battery with a wire in my camelbak is a huge plus.

If you need a burning time longer then 1.15 h, you will have to add the PiggyBack.

I have it. I run both of my lights on medium. Haven't had a problem yet. My night rides are about 2- 2 1/2 hours in duration.

Just ordered mine but I am wondering whether it comes with a handlebar mount??

According to the owner's manual it doesn't seem to be included:

However, according to MTBR's review, both the helmet and handle bar mounts will be included.

I will be using the Diablo primarily as a helmet mounted light but it would be nice to have the option to have it mounted on the handle bar should the occasion arise.
