Help me pick a new light...All advice welcomed

I am ready to buy a new bike light. I have only owned 1 bike light and that is the original niterider trailrat. Its old and still works but I am starting to nightride again and want to upgrade.

That said, I have no idea where to begin. When I bought my trailrat, niterider was basically your only choice.

My budget is up to 250 but would prefer less than 200. Not sure how many lumens I need but probably not too many. My old trailrat was fine for me.

    What do you guys recommend??

    1. Read through this forum and you'll be able to answer your own question.

    2. If your old Trail Rat puts out what you need, why do you want to "upgrade"?

    3. The easy answer: unbeatable bang for the buck is the Magicshine. There are many other good and worthy light choices, but none that provide as much bang for each of your bucks.

For your budget of $250,the MagicShine 2300 combo will give you both handle bar/helmet lighting as it's always good to night ride with two lights, and compared to your old NR bring a pair of sunglasses.Look up GeomanGear, as you will be well taken care of.
