Help me choose a light set.

I know there are a million of these threads but since there are so many lights, clones and clones of clones, I could use a little advice. I have my first night ride scheduled for Oct. 30th. So, I need to have everything dialed in before then. I would like to keep the spend around $100 just in case I don't dig night riding. Well, at least that what I keep telling myself!. I want a bar and helmet light with packs. Full kit would be easier but I am willing to piece something together if that will give me a lot more bang for the buck. Ok you light gurus, what do I get and where do I get it from? Keep in mind that I can't wait weeks for things to get shipped. And away we go...

$15, 150 lumen head lamp from Home Depot, $20, 600lm flashlight from dealextreme or kaidomain or wherever, along with a $10 bar mount.

If you decide you like night riding, you are going to want to spend a bit more than $100, even if you go with the cheap stuff. You'll want the good cheap stuff like Nitefighter.

    Other options:

Action LED is clearing out 350 lumen BT10's for $40 (Helmet or bar) and 650 lumen Eagle 600's for $54, and 160 lumen MJ-890's for $25.

And the gloworm X1 is $108 without a battery pack. That would be my choice for a first purchase for nearly $100, although I'd hit the $130 X2... if you want more light, later on get an XS for the bar. If it's too much, put the X2 on the bar and get an X1 for the helmet.
I will suffer no butt-hurt fools!

This question has been answered at least three times in the last two or three weeks. The answer hasn't changed since then.
