    Helmet mount

Looking for a good helmet mount light somewhere around the 100 range if possible, I have a cygolite 360 on my bars do you guys think that will be sufficient for a mountain night ride? Looking to gear up for the night ride season. Thanks!

Tbh the 360 is no where near enough for anything but pavement.

Your budget wont go far unless your ok with buying Chinese lights, except for niterider Lumina series. They seem to be a popular light and aren't bad from what ive seen. But lacking in run time.

About 15 years ago I did some 24 hour races with a NR 10W halogen that was about 400 lumens on the bars. Couldn't afford afford a helmet light either. That 400 lumens was good enough to keep my best night lap within 6 minutes of my best day lap on a ~10 mile course.

Times have certainly changed for the better. Now I ride with a combined 3000+ lumens between the bar and helmet lights. Rarely use that high though, only on fast downhill stretches.

You might want to look at the Magicshine MJ-858. Small, light weight, and only $85 with a helmet mount.
