    GoPro Cases for Light Cases

So I was trying to figure out how to pack my lights to transport them and came up with the idea to try out some cheap GoPro cases. GearBest sells them and they are all over Ebay. They are available in Small, Medium, & Large. I picked up a Small and a Large and it seems I should have bought a Medium! The Small would probably work for a simple small light and a 2-cell battery pack. The Large should work for a few lights, extension cables, mounting brackets, etc. . . The cases come without any of the foam padding removed (although it is pre-cut), so you can shape them however you want. Here is a link to a seller I used that shipped immediately with tracking and I received it in about 9 days.

Here are some pics of the two of mine with some lights to show how things could fit (I haven't played with these any further yet):

Anybody else have any other ideas on cheap padded cases for our lights?

Great idea for those that want some organization/protection. I'm not worried much about my lights so just toss everything in a cardboard box.

I use a small blow molded case to carry my "loaner/demo" lights.

I got off easy using nitefighter cases but considering a bigger case so I can put my camera in with my lights. Its nice to have a clean way to store them though, thats for sure. Nice find there Garry, ones you can actually cut to preference isnt so easy to find anymore.

I received my "medium" case the other day and as I expected the medium case seems like the better choice for a light and 2S2P battery (or case + 18650's). Here's a pic of all 3 side by side and then a closeup of the medium's pre-cut foam:
