Cool-blue Rhythm Fun Re-Wrapping Panasonic Batteries

All four of my KD 6x Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh Battery Packs failed at the soldered connections so I cannibalized them for TrustFire, jin heng and KD power banks. As the cells inside had been glued together I ended up shredding most of the original wraps so replaced with these beautiful transparent ones from eBay.

Came out so well just had to share. Especially as the vendor shipped them immediately and even included an extra sample variety pack with four spare insulating rings as well. Canít beat that!

    Andy, nice job.

It's easy to rewrap isn't it? So any kid in China can do it on fake cells as well, right? :/

Canít understand though why the fake cells have wrinkles in their wraps. Didnít get any in all the ones I heat shrank.

Also, the fakes have those dark greenish grey self adhesive replacement insulator rings which Iíd neglected to purchase along with the wraps, Díoh! Would have made the job so much easier than reusing the dried out and discolored old white rings from the Panasonicís.
