    Flashlight questions

I'm looking at some of the MTE lights with P7 or Cree MC-E emitters like these:

So what happens when the battery craps out (drops to the cutoff voltage) - does the light just go dark, does it kick down to a lower setting or ???

As with all rechargeable batteries the light will go dark pretty fast when the juice gets low. The light does not kick down to a lower setting.

I tried the flashlight bike light setup to save money and didn't like it. Changing out batteries all the time is a pain in the rear. I ended up buying an the Exposure Maxx D for my handlebar and the Exposure Joystick for my helmet. I am so happy I did!

My MTE P7 just stops when the battery hits the cut off voltage.
