    Flashlight/Object Mounts

    I only need a small light source on my bike so I am going down the flashlight trail... I now just need to decide how to mount it.

    The light I decided on is the Princetion Tec Amp 5
    Bulb type = LED
    Bulb detail = Maxbright LED / 3 5mm LEDs
    Weight with batteries = 7.5 ounces
    Dimensions = 1.625 x 6.25 inches
    Light output = High: 65 / low: 16 lumens
    Maximum beam distance = 85 meters
    Brightness levels = 2
    Beam type = Flood / spot
    Regulated output = Yes
    Battery life at 70 degrees = High: 150 / low: 160 hours
    Batteries = 4 AA
    Material(s) = Plastic/rubber
    Price = $45.95

    Possible mounts:

    seems really sturdy and easy to operate but limited options on the size of the flashlight

    Seems study and like it would hold tight on my bike but it can only hold a flashlight and I would have to buy a light to fit

    I like this one because I could use it to strap other objects to my bike and I can mount my flashlight to my helmet if I wanted to and it the size of the light doesn't matter

    Similar to the TwoFish Lock Blocks [above link] but alot cheaper. Is the few dollars that I would save make this one better?

    any suggestions [mounts or lights]? thanks in advance!

    The 3rd mount you mentioned. I have a rubber shim (not included) wrapped around the light on the inside.

    I like where you have that mounted I didn't think about mounting a light there...

    Does that mount hold tight?
    What kind of light are you running there?

    Yeah, I have another mount (Minoura Besso), just need another light. It's a Romisen RC-N3 Q5. I'd get lights/mounts from shiningbeam.com. Better quality than DX lights and super-fast shipping from NY. Once mounted, the light/mounts do not move at all.

    When you insert a hyperlink, you have the option to rename it.
