DiNotte xml 3 - Battery location on helmet

I saw on DiNotte's website that they discourage users from mounting the battery on the helmet. Does anybody still do this?

Its just battery packs can be heavy and if not done correctly, arent secure. I wont run anything more than a 2cell pack on the helmet, 4 cell is just too heavy. And trust me even 2 cell and a light, you'll notice the weight difference on a long ride.

You couldn't pay me to mount that battery pack on my helmet, it's heavy and large. I imagine that is the case for any 4 cell battery pack.
