    Cygolite Mitycross battery

Has anyone had one rebuilt? I only see these for sale around 55 bucks or so. 3.8v Li-ion battery.
    Thanks much.

You might be able to rebuild it yourself. I think it was ledoman who had a big thread about building new packs out of usb power banks.

What's the capacity of the pack? 55 bucks for a 2 cell pack seems like a ripoff to me. Is this the pack you are talking about

It might be worth just buying a new light that such as the Nitefighter BT21 that uses the standard 2s2p (7.4V) pack. It probably has more output than what you have now. Or better yet save up for something like a Glowworm X2.

That probably wasn't much help now that I think about it.

Here's the thread is was talking about:

If you think that pack at $55 is a rip off try living in Canada. That same pack at MEC which is or at least used to be the cheapest place around is $99.

    I'm not building a Li-ion battery.

Wow, that's crazy! It's the one thing I really hate about the big brands is the price of their batteries. It's always a bad deal.
