Bike light for high beam only - 60$ and over 2000 lumens

    Hi guys!

Please recommend me a good bike light, for high beam use (I have a dynamo headlight modded with cut-off that puts over 300 lumens on the road, and I use that as a low beam, and it's more than OK for me...), this light also has DRL's.

I want the light only for high beam, so I'm interesed in a light with throw power, but a little bit of spill, would also be nice.

The purchase will be made from DX.

Someone recomended me the Solarstorm XT40. I like it very much, but I want to here a few ideas and oppinions about it.

    Thanks in advance!

Solarstorm xt40 from gearbest is also a favorite for a long range spot.

    Ok, thanks a lot @tigris99.

Any reviews for Solarstorm XT40? Is it any good? Build quality? Battery quality and lifetime?

Battery packs that come with all but the nitefighter lights (for budget Chinese lights) work ok but not for terribly long. Better off buying just a lighthead and then a separate good quality battery pack. Plenty of info just search xt40 in this subforum.

Ps: 2000 lumens....anywhere close to true output isn't going to happen cheaply. Solarstorm way over rates their lumen output and you just don't need that much in a setup when your using 2 lights.
