    Battery question

    Hi all,

I have (had) a xeccon s12 that the light has died (dropped it) but the battery is still good. The replacement might be a cleanskin duo. Just wondering about the battery though.

Both are 8.4V, but the s12 is 6400mAh and the duo is 4400mAh. Can I use the s12 battery on the duo as a back up if needed? Would it be too much for the lamp to handle or would it just have a longer burn time?

Electronics has always befuddled me, thanks for any advice.

The road to hell is paved. Full stop.

Yes no worries, it will just run down faster.

Thanks, which will run down faster, the 6400 or the 4400?

The bigger the capacity number the longer the runtime.
