    Battery Id please.

I bought this at the local co-op today. I believe it has a 10 W halogen as it looks real similar to my old BLT system. I was wondering if somebody could confirm and tell me what kind of battery's these are. I assume the charger goes with this light as the terminal ends connect and it was the only one in their box of lights that did. Any information would be appreciated.

    should be NiMH 4/3 17.5 x 67 mm
    about 3800mah 5 * 1.2 = 6V * 3.8ah 22.8 WH

measure size, voltage of single cell, and battery pack.
don't leave battery on charger for days, or it will fry ,.... something.

    verify number yourself.

why do you ask ? battery's fried ?

    cheers, Rob

Thanks Rob. I am electrically illiterate, but it appears you are saying this is a 6V light? I did not know the condition of the battery's , but since it was a bike co-op donation I pretty much figured they would be toast so I wanted to know what my options would be . One of the wires leads to the light switch needs soldering or replacement also.
