Anyone with a Ravemen PR1200 also own a Ravemen CR series light?

I've been making GoPro adapters for the PR1200 (I think it works on all the PR series too) for a couple years. I've had an inquiry about a GoPro adapter for a CR series light and was wondering if anyone with both a PR and CR could compare the factory mount on the light body to see if they are the same. Appreciate any help provided.

Check with Cat-man-do, I know he has a PR1200 and several CR series lights. My PR900 and LR800 both have the same mount for whatever that's worth.

@Vanc ; Did this just for you and it was a PITA because I had used electrical tape on the mount I currently use for the PR-1200 to keep it from vibrating. The QR slide mount on mine was just too loose, hence the need for using a bit of ETape to sure it up. In order to look at the bottom of the PR1200 I had to remove it and then hope not to break the mount trying to slide it off the QR.

Anyway, as you can see they all seem pretty much the same. If you are going to make a Go-Pro adapter I'm thinking you would make one that is designed to mount the female portion of the bar QR slide mount to a Go-pro platform. That design would only require one hole for the screw and allow mounting of the slide-mount to the Gopro platform. Depending on the design it might require a longer screw if the platform is more beefy. Now if you're thinking of replacing the slide platform that is connected to the lamp itself...ehh...I don't think you want to go there. I have no idea what type of screws they use and My God are they small. Can't tell if they're hex or star or whatever. Strip one of those babies and you are screwed ( no pun intended ) Much better to use the part that is attached to the bar mount since that just uses a single normal Phillips head screw.

On a side note; My biggest problem with using the PR-1200 on my MTB bars is that it is so hard to get the lamp ( beam pattern ) level. Since the Raveman lamps are using a cut-off type lens this can be a problem if using riser bars and mounting close to where the bars swoop up. Not real important but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to beam patterns......this means I have to angle the mount using pieces of rubber to see if I can angle the lamp so the cut-off is more level.

    Hey Cat, thanks a million!!!!

I suspected they used the same mount, but it is good to get it confirmed. I'm already making an aluminum adapter for the PR1200 that replaces the slide lock system. Replacing the sloppy fit and for the folks that had broken the slide lock on the light were the design goals. Looks like the same adapter will work fine on the CR lights too. IIRC the screws are a Torx T9 head on a standard M2.5 screw. I've probably only sold 10-12 of the PR1200 adapters. Despite that light being pretty heavy the factory mount seems to be pretty strong despite the sloppy fit.

Turns out that the optional helmet mount for the Ravemen CR lights uses a GoPro interface so folks wanting to use a GoPro Bar mount with a CR could buy my adapter or the Ravemen helmet mount and just use the GoPro slide lock.

Again, thanks for checking on this for me!
