Any have any experience with these?

I was wondering if anyone's had any experience with either of these 2 lights? I'm looking for a light under $100 that is bright for mild to fast singletrack use. Thanks

Mates got the first 1, nothing special just use Torches on www.Dealextreme.com P7 or MC-E for the bars 700Lumens ish, and Twin R2's the $18 280Lumen ones I've got on order for your helmet, should all come to sub $100 and you'll out ride anything commerical at 4x's the price.

If you want 200-300 lumens you could get 2 of these ($16.42 each): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15335 - I have 3 friends that own them.

...or for $90 (w/free shipping in the US) you can have 600+ lumens with these: http://www.geomangear.com/index.php?...i2tcmo5abm5lc5 (already linked above) - I have 2 of these myself, very happy.

There are TOO many problems with the info in their auctions. That first light is listed as 200 lumens with a Q5 in it. But then they also have one with a P4 in it and they claim that one is 200 lumens too.
I've e-mailed then twice asking how both lights could be 200 lumens and they have yet to get back to me. Hmm, wonder why?
Secondly, I've read posts from people that have upgraded those lights from the stock P4's to a Q5 and they said there wasn't much of a noticable difference in brightness.
The stock P4 is usually listed at about 100 lumens.

I have one of the regular P4's from dealextreme (which are only $10 btw), and although it's a nice light for a casual ride, I wouldn't be able to ride hard and fast with that alone.

Not even in the same league as the Magicshine in terms of brightness.

I'd definitely pass on those. Too many better options out there.

Yea, after reading here and another forum the past few days, I've decided on the Magicshine. I just hope it's reliable and will last me for a bit. Thanks guys

I bought the E-bay product a while back.

Don't waste your money. The thing says 3 hr run time. No way. About 30-45 min max. When I e-mailed the seller, all he could say is "our tests indicate 3 hr run time". What a complete joke.

    This thread should help you.
