    Ugly plug!

I made a set of lights a couple of years ago, 3 xpg with a task biflex. They are not as pretty as many lights on these forum but they work great and were a fun project. My problem is the plug on the battery cord. I soldered the wires into the plug and tried to cover the end with shrink tape (heat shrink?) that I got from a local store. It didn't work very well and I covered it with tape. Looks like crap! Is there a heavier grade of wrap available?

I would check with a local battery specialist like Batteries+ around here. They construct batteries for customers so I would think that would be a trivial thing for them to slip some to you.

I never considered them. I'll give that a try. Thanks.
