    Those with DX experience.

Ordered some stuff and it was sent as a partial shippment.

The page said some items were not sent as they were not in stock. when adding to the cart the items said in stock(well it allowed me to add to cart.) The first driver I tried to add but it would not let me as it was out of stock.

What now? Do I just wait and see if the stuff comes in 2 seperate shipments? I have never ordered from them. Whats the shipping time like to canada?

I dont imagine they have customer service reps to ask these questions.
    Thanks

Don't worry it's normal. Your items will all be shipped. I've had this happend to me more than once. Don't know why they do it this way, guess they would rather ship you something than make you wait. Next time if you want everything shipped at the same time just uncheck the box that say something like ship in stock item first.

they did ship some of the stuff. But I need all of it Just dont want to wait a month for half and wait longer for the other. I guess im not sure if its in stock or not. I assume they split ship if the boxes are to big, since its free shipping it might cost them less to do it this way.

    heres hoping

I've ordered from them also. You need lots of patience. In my opinion, if you're really looking forward to a build or need parts, you are better off dealing with a U.S. supplier such as ledsupply or illumination supply or some of the members of this forum that sell parts. Nothing worse than having all the parts you need but one go get going on a build, and having to wait weeks.

Patience is a virtue - my last order took a month to get here - and wasn't DX's fault. My last order sat in customs in New York from September 11 til sept 26th. I ordered from DX on Sept 5th, and it only took 5 days to get to New York - unfortunately the New York Post Office sat on it for another 2 weeks.

    Tip when ordering from DX

I only order one item per order.
It's way easier to keep track of shipments.

Since the shipping is all free, it makes no difference having just one item per order.

It also keeps the people that pack up the packages from combining things that may get damaged rubbing against each other.
Sometimes the items are packed very well with red bubble wrap around each item, sometimes they are just loose inside the shipping envelopes
