    Temp effects on MCE's

I couldn't find the old thread on temperature effects on the LED's. Got my new Lux meter in a few days ago. About $50 with shipping. State of the art Chinese. I put the MCE triple (one of deesta cases) up against the light meter this morning. With 260L at start, the output fell by 10 Lux, when the case temp reached 100F. As the case grew warmer, the output fell off more. Moral, start with LOTS of lumens. Then as those temp effects kick in, we can still shadow that SOB in front! lol

As they heat up the output falls. It's pretty well documented on the datasheets for the leds. The cooler the better!
