Good job! Skip / Dumpster Diving What have you found

Well in true scavenger fashion I cant walk past a Skip or dumpster on a building site with out looking in to see if there is anything of use .
and today it paid off with about 200 metres of twin core shielded cable 4 mm outside diameter. Ideal I thought for power supply to lights

Any other Skip Skavengers / dumpster divers out there who have found some thing really usefull

I once took 400lbs of York Stone from a skip, it would have been a waste otherwise. great stuff.

I once threw a PDP11 into a skip. Came back half an hour later with the terminal/printer and the PDP was gone.

I scored an air compressor, a generator, and a lawn tractor (among other things) from a dumpster behind a Sears warehouse near my office. All were new but needed minor repairs (after ordering the parts from Sears )

Our elderly maintenance guy used to wait for the Sears workers to close the garage door and he'd come get me for a good rummage. We found some pretty amazing things in there...
