    Screw-in power cable thingies...

Can't for the life of me find any screw-in type power cable fittings.
Looking to do a better fixing power cable for my new light, rather than a 2.5mm DC push in as I want to mount the power from the bottom.
Anyone point me in the right direction (UK) preferably :-)

    Pico M8 3 pin connectors.

They are a standard connector made by a bunch of different companies... LUMBERG, Turk, Murr, etc. You can get pre-wired male and female cables as well as panel mount connectors: 7000-08552-9700050 | Murrelektronik Limited 7000-08552-9700050, M8 3 Pole Male Front Mount Circular Connector,Male Contacts, IP67 | Murr Elektronik

Check on eBay too, that's where I got Lumberg ones I use on all my high power lights.

They aren't meant for very high currents though... most are spec'd at 4A max although there is also a 4 pin variant of them that you could double up the wires to get 8A current capacity. Waterproof and very durable... used in industrial environments for connecting up sensors on equipment.

    +1 on ^

I've used the Turck panel mount M8 connectors on my lights for several years. Bulletproof reliability. As Kwarwick mentioned they are a bit low capacity for todays higher powered LEDs. I'm runing mine at a maximum of 3.5A currently. No problems but I'm sure there is a bit of voltage drop.

I have to say I want longer, guess I need to dig around eBay. The ones I bought are just barely long enough for my bar light. And forces me to put pouch on top of TT instead of hanging under it or on down tube.

Just wondered what you bought to use? Need something myself but most of the cheaper ones on eBay don't give much info, don't really want 24awg cable :P
