    Salt and Pepper Shaker light

    G'day all,

I made this light two years ago and I didn't get around to posting it here.

Why am I posting it now ? Because it sucks and I want to stop anyone with any sanity from doing the same thing. The heatsinking was lame with the stainless steel so it over heated on 1Amp but was fine at 750 mA equiv.

Whats the point of only having less that full power ?

The switches are the same as all my lights. Full, Medium and Low and an on off switch.

LED's are or should I say were Seoul P4's with a triple optic and heatsink from Cutter.

The mount is a Marwi mount.

Keep the salt and pepper on your dining room table not your bike or bike helmet.

This light was retired this year for other projects.

Whether it sucks or not, it's still quite a pretty light!

And yeah, stainless steel isn't the best thermal conductor.

Nice looking light, I have seen other "shaker lights" and this looks like the cleanest design so far. Too bad about the heat problems.
