    Pulstar cassette removal

Does anyone know how to remove the pulstar cassette? I went to finish Jake's 1993 Marin and the cassette on the wheel would only allow for 7 speed.

I have broken the hub down all the way to the hub and cassette but cannot separate the two at this point. I can get an allen wrench inside and it appears to me that it will unscrew - its very tight on there and i don't want to force it without knowing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might want to post in the vintage forum, not DIY lighting.
    Cool bike to be rebuilding!
That being said, if it is an original US made generation pulstar hub it uses a shimano cassette body, which I believe uses a 10mm Allen key to remove, standard threading. The later versions used a crappy taiwanese freehub which would be hard to replace.
BTW, I don't think there is a difference in size between 7 spd and 10 spd cassette bodies. I remember running up to a 9spd on my old Pulstar.
