    Poundland Light

It stated life as 3AA Aluminum torch from that great favorite Poundland (will going back for some more)

I got it home and pulled out the tiny bulb that was inside and smashed out the thin plastic lens it had.
Inside i found it to be threaded all up the inside was planning to make a little heat sink and drop an XP-G inside but noting the size i looked in my spares tin where i had and old pill out of a torch with a XR-E attached perfect fit!
A 1000ma driver i had dropped in nicely and it was sealed up with plenty of silicon and a tail cap. in the front is a very cheap ebay optic that happened to be the same diameter 18/19mm i think again some more silicon to hold this in.

    Finished in no time!

Tried to do a beam shot but as i cant get out the house this evening the best i could get is as below, it throws quite well but it throwing the square patten of the cree which im not to keen on but it will serve me well for its job of getting me back from work of a night.
its about 4m (13ft) to the fence and about 50m (160ft) to the trees

I often raid Poundland myself as I have one just up the road from me.

Do you have a link to the ebay optic please.
