New Battery For My Pond Scum Light?

I built a dual Pond Scum DIY light a couple years ago and the 14.4V 5Ah Powerizer water bottle battery is not cutting it...never has. With one MR16 bulb, I should be getting 2.0 to 2.5 hours of light and I got 38 mins tonight.

Lots of people have this setup and don't seem to have a problem...maybe my particular battery is no good. Should I bite the bullet and buy a replacement battery for $70 or look into something else? Don't really want to spend any more money considering I bought it once already.

Depends what wattage the bulb is.
Note you're overvolting too so runtime will be less than you expect.
