N00b needs advice. Re-assemble or replace?

I had an unfortunate incident last night on a ride where the strap on the soft cordura pouch holding my batteries failed and the battery pack came off the bike. Here is the result:

seeking directions on how to repair it, or if it should be replaced.
The light is a "real" Yinding" from the group-buy last year and has worked flawlessly for probably 40 night rides, almost one a week since Jan '15.

Shurely it can be repaired as long as you did not make any short that could fry the circuit.

See the thread about batteries for example this one http://forums.mtbr.com/lights-night-...ce-995303.html and
    http://forums.mtbr.com/lights-night-...gb-982688.html

You would need to tear down black foil around the pack (just one long cut on the oposite side between cells). You can duct tape it back later.

Make better, larger and focused pictures of your protection circuit from both sides so we can help further. Also new pictures of unwrapped pack would be good.
