    Mounting LED to housing

Finally have some LED and material. Was curious how thick of a sink wall is recommended when mounting up a triple XPE?

It's a relationship between mass and surface area. You could have an outer wall of 1.5 mm as long as you have lots of surface area. Other example is having 10 mm outer wall housing and the mass alone should be able to wick enough heat away.
Hammonds boxes make for thin walled light housings. Seemed like 3 to 5 mm angle aluminum is enough heat sinking to move heat from the emitter to the housing.
Here is how .40AET handle it.
