    Modification of a standard flishlight

    Hello all

Last year I baught a Flashlight. On the package, it is specified LED 3 W and works with 3 cells AAA (Diameter 6 mm). (25 € chez Décat).
    See hereafter picture.

Fews days ago, I tryed to put inside a Li cell (18650). But since this test, the light don't work any more

So, I openned it and removed out the electronic part. I was surprised : It is only a CMS resistor.
I did tests and in fact, the resistor is dead and the led is OK

Now, I am interesting in modify it and put inside an 18650 cell + a circuit board.

Do you have any circuit board to suggest to me ?

FIY, the led is a ZLED from SEOUL 3 W. On the DS, it works with 1000 mA,
Inside, I can put a board with a maximum diamter of 26 mm.
    And the cell is a 18660 (3,7-4,2 V)

    In advance thank you,
    Djipe

On Dealextrem, I've seen this driver :
5-Mode 1000mA 7135 Circuit Board for Cree and SSC Emitters
    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6190

Do anybody had used it ?

There is 2 wires. How do we plug it ? Have we to put an other wire for the switch ?
Or do we use the on-off switch to change the 5 modes ?

In advance thank you for your anwsers
