Mj 880 and rc lipo question

Hello guys! I just ordered the mj 880 headlight only. Im new to nightriding but experienced with rc's. I only purchased the headlight only thinking of using my my rc batteries because I have tons of 2 cell lipos lying around. I have a very high quality charger for my lipo and always balance them whenever i charge them.

My only question is does mj880 have a builtin low voltage cutoff in its headlight? Thanks for reading my post.

No - the low voltage is in the battery pack. The battery indicator light (ie green blue red) will give you a rough idea of voltage, but better to use a low voltage cutoff or alarm

    That's exactly what I do.
I have 2 lights on the handlebar - spot and oval, they are powered by 1 5000 mAh LiPo. I have made a Traxxas - dual Magicshine adapter.
There's no low voltage cutoff, only low voltage warning.
