Mini mag mount made from weaver scope mount

I bought a Mini mag LED pro light for a little over 20 bucks at walmart that puts out 275 lumens. It is pretty damm bright. Now I just needed a way to mount it to my bike.

I had a bunch of old scope mounts laying around and a couple long weaver bases. I took one mount and clamped it to my handlebars with a rubber insert for a nice tight fit. I took one of the weaver bases and cut a short piece of it off. I then drilled and tapped a hole for 6mmx1.00 in the weaver base. I used an old seat post reflector for the bracket that holds my mini mag lite. I had to put a piece of heater hose around the mini mag to make it fit but once the screw was tight if is not going anywhere. I mounted this light and bracket to the weaver base with a 6mmx1.00 screw and a couple washers. It is adjustable both vertically and horizontally for the beam aim. If this has been done before I appologize. I looked and looked at all kinds of DIY brackets and I wasn't happy with any of them. They were either flimsy or ugly. This is what I came up with after several days of tacking my brain. I plan on cutting off the longer end of the base that overhangs but I decided to quit for the night.

Yea I was excited too lol. The nice thing is that even though this little light is bright as hell, you can buy other small lights that are 3-4 times brighter and you could fit them into the same mount. It's basically a mount that can be made to accept many different small flashlights.
